The way I read this story, a couple of botanists were hiking through a tropical rain forest when they came upon this arachnid, which is being described as the biggest spider ever discovered. It hunts (and captures and eats) birds.
Vleeptron isn't saying where they found the spider. We wouldn't want to spoil your surprise if you go there.
