Vleeptron closed for 1 week while we go to Caribbean / winter sucks / PIZZAQ! GUESS OUR ISLAND!
Vleeptron will (maybe) be closed for 1 week.
(We're bringing the laptop, so who knows? Maybe I can post. I posted from Canada. Miracles happen.)
PIZZAQ! Guess my island! It's printed on the above map.
But this is such a tough question, the prize isn't an addition to your Pizza Account. If you guess my island, I will REALLY send you something! Really! I don't care where you are. I'll find a way to get your Prize to you. I promise.
(I sent fresh cooking spices to the XCalc guy in Norway -- the shipping costs were 12 x the cost of the spices.)

What we can see in the upper right is a Tarot card, apparently coming from a deck called Marseilles. I though it was a Tarot card, googled and found it.
I associate Tarot with Voodoo or Wudu. Wudu originates in West Africa, arrived in Haiti with african slaves and later spread to Louisiana, New Orleans and the rest of the Carribean. You know more about this stuff like Baron Samedi and so on, if I remember correctly you even wrote a book about it, right ?
The official language of Haiti is French, most figures in Wudu also have french names like Baron Samedi. So we are looking for a carribean country where french is spoken (and where you possibly might find Wudu).
I found St. Barthelmy, St. Pierre and St. Martin (NOT St. Maarten), but cant nail it fuerther down.
So much for that strain of thought. And even if i am wrong it was some good logical deduction I reckon.
Now you and the Missus have some fun and enjoy the sun !
Oh, you mean "Zombie Jamboree"? Well, alas, it wasn't about Voodoo ... the title was a goofy old Calypso song I liked as a kid. More about that when I get back.
I guess this is a HINT ... our island is mentioned in your Guess List.
But still ... which island?
I just threw in the Tarot card because it's such a pretty picture of THE SUN!!!!!!! And we need THE SUN!!!!!
I was going to guess Monserrat again, since you like Volcanos
Montserrat ain't toooo far from our island, but we're not on Montserrat.
HOWEVER, like Montserrat and most of the islands up and down this chain, this is a volcanic island. Fortunately these volcanos are extinct or dormant. (Only the volcano knows if it's extinct.)
Hmmm ... HINT ... Monstserrat is a British Colonly. Our island is a dependency of A Different Euro Colonial Power.
In fact (BIG HINT) Our island is a dependency of TWO Different Euro Colonial Powers.
Man O Man was it HOT! HOT! HOT! here today! Slather me up with more SUNSCREEN! And I'll have the Rum Punch.
SAINT MARTIN rides a horse, his cape flows out to one side. I read that that signifies his giving of all his worldly goods to the poor. I am searching desperately for the strange 'meridionale' prayer for continued sustenance, in the meantime make mine quiche, merci.
