Eid Mubarak -- Blessed Eid -- is the most familiar greeting for the three-day festival which ends the month of Ramadan, Eid ul-Fitr ( عيد الفطر ). This greeting and local variants are being exchanged all over Planet Earth at this moment, as Muslims end the holy month of Ramadan.
Everything in this image is shamelessly filched, wrapped in good wishes, but in my usual abyssmal Occidental ignorance. (Corrections and additional information as always gratefully accepted.)
The black Arabic calligraphy was filched from the Islamic Centre of Ontario, Canada. The diamond dingbats are by the Minneapolis (USA) artist Adina Weinand, because I love her dingbats.
