Yes but can she bloody sing ? Nope, 14:59 and counting. And it seems that RS has become a tool for the mainstream music industry. Bleh.

Oh, she's a singer?

This was part of Vleeptron's campaign to post more porn and get more hits.

Rolling Stone ... well, look, why don't you just skip the music news and reviews, and go directly to the political reporting. It's certainly the best, most daring, deepest, most adventurous national political reporting in the USA.

Yes, they give great reviews to mega-corporate vomit music. Just don't read RS for the music.

How come that image reminded me of Debbie Harry ? I was just wondering if somewone like Joni Mitchell would get a record deal nowdays. Seems like looks count more that talent. Also looks like looks sell more records than talent I reckon, but it is my sincere hope that somewhere in a garage some musicians are rehearsing stuff that will bring excitement back into pop music.

There are more interesting things than artificial fabricated corporate beauty, like this one for example

I think we squabbled before about Debbie Harry, I posted the lyrics to "Rapture" and you said you didn't like the song or Blondie or anything associated with her.

You are real strict, I think you live too close to Geneva.

Well, okay, regarding Lady Gaga -- if you are seeking or waiting for Originality in musical artists ... well, I am sorry for both of us. The Days of Pop Music Originality, this era suffered a Mass Extinction around 1980, and we shall not likely ever again have common access to a lot of Original New Musical Artists.

As you said -- Lady Gaga reminds you of many previous good artists. Lady Gaga is the World Poster Child for Derivative.

Whoops -- looks like she has only 12:24 left! Enjoy her quick!

Oh ... uhhh ... is she a 1-Hit Wonder? What is/was her 1 Hit? Can I hear it for Free?

Bjork has a famous video where she is lying on her back and her breasts are covered by clear plastic domes, inside of which are tiny UFO aliens. (The artist is Jon Kricfalusa (sp?) who created Ren & Stimpy.)

As for the Mass Extinction in Music I still have a faint hope. When there is just crap on the radio some of these youngens might try to find different stuff or create it on their own. It has happened before, might happen right now as we speak.

As for free music videos Youtube should be your friend. But don't say I didn't warn you and be careful that you don't get lost...

DOH! You say that possibly maybe I might find a video by Lady Gaga on YouTube?

I would like to say something nice about Lady Gaga. She went to (but did not graduate from) my Alma Mater New York University, the Tisch School for the Arts.

So if you send your daughter or son to NYU School of the Arts these days, this is what comes out the other end.

told you so before. You can find everything on youtube. From old classic videos and live footage to documentaries, tv shows and whhatnot. You will find Lady Gaga (note: gaga is a german slang term for beeing a bit loony) etc etc etc.

You might even find some Björk. I like that one where she is doing this broadway music dance thing in a song called All So Quiet.

Let them put anything in the magazine or on the cover that sells, as long as they don't ax the political coverage. If they skip the rest no one'll buy it!

Hmmm. How much are you selling Lady Gaga tickets for? If they cost $5 and I don't have to drive far ...
