How was Cape Cod? GREAT!!!
Male wild turkeys (Meleagris gallopavo) in Barnstable, Cape Cod, Massachusetts USA on Tuesday 1 May 2007. Ordinarily wild turkeys are extremely rare to see, but these roadside idiots were following a hen, trying to impress her with their handsomeness, and they didn't care that cars were parking and people leaping out to take their picture. Ah, love is in the air. They are impressive, aren't they. They don't fly very good though. I was travelling too fast down a gravel road in Vermont a number of years ago and came over a hill and startled a flock of wild turkeys. They took off, and only made it to about windshield height. I stomped on the brakes and turned completely around, managing to miss both turkeys and large tree trunks in the process. My passenger thought it was fun. Several months later, I was travelling across Vermont to Burlington, and this same passenger (now driving in a car ahead of me) called when she was several miles ahead to warn me that there was a flock of wild turkeys by the side of the road.
Everything looks good in your posting.
That will be necessary for all. Thanks for your posting.
