You may be a country boy, but maybe you are not a very good country boy.

Did your Swiss cows like to arrange themselves in a nice big orderly circle? If so, I really *must* visit soon!

Diese sind Kühe nicht.

P.S. Has your pub re-opened again?

P.P.S. I REALLY screwed up and missed Eurovision!!! What happened? Who won? How did the CH act do? Did the German guy win by not singing in English???

Yup, the Pub is open again, they only close it whe they dont have any guests. Bastards.

I am a contry boy, I have seen more cows than you and they looked like cows to me from a distance. Only fools and horses, they say.

Eurosong ? Serbia won based on what I know. I am not going to rant about Eurovision this time as much as I would like to but I noticed that even hardcore fans of the event were pissed off a bit because there were so many countries from eastern europe and the whole bloody thing is not even an unwilling satire but just a very bad joke. CH did not make it into the final and the bloke who represented us is pissed off now. good thing I reckon because I am pissed off as well when he gets played on the radio.

I am afraid I have to correct your deutsch a bit . Das sind keine Kuehe nicht is an invalid sentence due to doppelte Verneinung. keine und nicht rule each other out. It is either: das sind keine Kuehe or das sind nicht Kuehe.

well what the bloody hell are they then ? horses ?

My Translator Robot ( www.freetranslation.com ) thanks you for the deutsches correction. Only Robots speak deutsches worse than me.

Neither are these things Pferde.

HINT: An old radio quiz show would ask: Is it Animal, Vegetable, or Mineral?

Give up with the Animal, try the other two categories.

I am much happier that Serbians are singing crappy schmaltzy termite songs than what they were doing in the 1990s. This is actually why I have a warm spot in my heart for Eurovision. Apparently millions of people would rather sing and listen to terrible karaoke than try to annihilate each other.

Musically, this spells horrible things for the future of Earth. But this horrible musical future is still better than the horrible un-musical past.

And what music is worse than military music? In the army, we used to say:

Military Justice is to Justice
as Military Music is to Music

My punk-and-drunk college town is surrounded by farm country. I would leave town life and become a Gentleman Farmer if I could sleep till 10:30 or 11 am. But I can't handle that 04:30 reveillez crap.

On my Gentleman Farm, I will raise Endives, Geese (they make the best guard dogs!) and Bees.

I am not going to make any more rants on termite culture like Eurosong, Marsh McLuhan had to say almost everything about mass media that there is to say. Period.

Hmmm so its minerals then. Had a look at images an stuff of stone circles and the like but I have not seen one so big.....you can find them all over Europe and the UK....btw you are going on vacation to the north atlantic and your better half is a mediavalist (plz say gday, this is something I always wanted to study but never could)....so......heiss oder kalt.....

For the What, you are heiss! On the head you have hit the nail! A stone circle!

For the Where ... well, here you are warm! Won't tell you exactly where, but go back to this map

and it's one our Viking (with Snack Bar) Adventure!

I have passed on your Medieval Greetings to Frau Doktor S.W.M.B.O. So ... you got nothing but Universities in CH and you are Young ... follow your Dream to the Middle Ages!

Also, to see her castles, she had to fly across the Atlantic. Where you are, you can take the bus or train to the Middle Ages!

So...there we are....up to now I have seen more bloody stones than I have ever been bloody stoned before...but most of those circles are not that big.....I never thought Stonehenge was so bloody small...the object on your pic seems to be quite large because usually in a stone circle all stones are very close to each other

(listed by country and specific category)

Now how could a medievalist bre interested in those stone circles ???I can show you medieval places, I am bloody surronded by them.....but stone circles ???
