PelosiBot feels your pain, but you have the wrong Zip code.

Sure, click. See where it gets you.

Okay, I warned you I'd do this.

And I'll do it for every e-mail somebody sends to Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Hmmmm, you said "Please." Darn, I forgot to say "Please."

VleeptronZ is Fair and Balanced. If you write Speaker Pelosi to tell her you love the Iraq War and want us to Stay The Course, Choose Victory, and Give War A Chance, I'll post it here, too.

PelosiBot sure doesn't make it easy to Share My Feelings with the Speaker of the House. I just got a reply from my first attempt, to her Congressional website, which let me send my e-mail, but now says it was automatically directed to an electronic trash can because I don't live in her 8th Congressional District. PelosiBot recommends I try e-mailing her again at her special Speaker account

AmericanVoices@mail.house.gov

And I will, you bet, right away.

If UFO Aliens abduct George W. Bush and Dick Cheney, this fine public servant will be the new President of the United States.

And will be just as responsive to citizen complaints urging her to stop the Iraq War as they've been. She'll probably keep relentlessly and robotically Not Feeling Our Pain right up until the San Francisco Chronicle publishes a pre-election poll that shows 42 percent of the 8th District plans to vote for Cindy Sheehan.

If the Aliens abduct Nancy Pelosi, too, the new President will be Senator Robert Byrd of West Virginia. Which is pretty interesting, because he's the only one of these comatose dweebs who has a solid, loud, no-nonsense track record of Just Saying NO to the Iraq War, since before it started. After Mars attacks, check out the 12 February 2003 thoughts of our new President.

===============

Dear Speaker Pelosi:

The time is now. Impeach President Bush and Vice President Cheney, and bring an end to the Iraq War.

It has become clear to America, and to the world, that the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and the President's blind pursuit of them are leading us over the edge of a cliff. We have given away most if not all of our national credibility on foreign policy issues. We are now known internationally as a country that tortures, attacks countries unprovokedly, We are viewed now as a threat to international peace, rather than the source of it. We have lost the trust of the international community.

The President and his Administration have shown that they value politics above human dignity, business above human rights, and ideology above all else. This is not the way to govern America. They, like you, serve at the consent of the governed; and we want this war to stop.

No more politics, no more nuance. The time is now.

Bring our troops home, bring an end to this Administrations war, and to try to salvage what is left of our American ability to do good in the world.

You hold that authority. Impeach the President and Vice President. They have lied to us repeatedly; I am sure there is a big, fat file sitting on the corner of your desk that details every whopper the President has told us. Every time he utters one of his lies, he violates the Constitutional trust we place in him; which is a high crime.

You must, as Speaker of the House, the Legislative Branch of our Government, hold the Executive Branch accountable for the lies, the illegal wars, and the senseless, unnecessary deaths they have caused. America can get along for the next couple of years while we struggle with the spectacle of Impeachment proceedings. To fail to do so, you abrogate your own Constitutional responsibility.

Please, the time is now.

Senator Byrd is the last of a lost breed of men who truly understand the awesome responsibility of government. Sure, he has made mistakes, and held opinions that were unpopular or even damaging...but he has consistently shown both the courage of his convictions and the ability to change his mind given new information or experiences.

He keeps a small copy of the US Constitution in the vest pocket of his coat. He is the only one in the Senate who can quote it chapter and verse as quickly as some of them can quote Christian scripture.

I think Senator Byrd ought to take the Boy King out behind the woodshed for a good old fashioned ass whipping, and then send him back to the White House with no supper, and no more money for war.
