E-Z PizzaQ (no math): What? Where? Who?

Absolutely! Click!

And phone Klaas in Rotterdam. And Google. Ask your Mom. Maybe somebody at Kafe Internet Sofia knows.

5 slices white (no tomatoes please until we know where the salmonella is coming from) square pizza with mushrooms, shallots, some capers, lots of fresh ground pepper.

HINT: It's somewhere on Earth, it's not on Vleeptron or Yobbo or Hoon or Mollyringwald. And it's real, it's not PhotoShopped like the extra 12 imaginary Iranian missiles. I'm not making this up. You could go in and use the bathrooms.

The Jean-Marie Tjibaou Cultural Centre location: 22°15′21.6″S 166°27′43.2″E which is 8km NW of Nouméa, New Caledonia.
Who? Jean-Marie Tjibaou was the leader of the Kanak independence movement who was assassinated in 1989.
Who? Designed by Italian architect Renzo Piano.
Who? It's a building not a person.
Sorry can't eat pizza, too old. I take my grub through a straw.

Good grief, this PizzaQ has been on Vleeptron since 2008, and William Henry Roberts is the first and only person to win the pizza (which he can't even eat -- but we will be happy to substitute his fave straw-friendly treat).

Okay, well, I got to ask:

* How on earth did you stumble on this Vleeptron PizzaQ?

and

* How did you identify The Thing?

I mean, for this to be a familiar image to you, maybe you live in Noumea or do a lot of traveling in New Caledonia. This could be your Eiffel Tower. You might have bought back a Jean-Marie Tjibaou Cultural Center postcard or snow glove.

But if you ain't from thereabouts -- how the hell did you tag and bag this image?

Oh, there's 1 possibility -- you might be an architect, or (like moi) an amateur fan of the buildings of Renzo Piano. But that still doesn't explain how my Vleeptron image furped its way to you.

PizzaQs (the ones I think are hard) are generally structured around un-googleable or one-way unsearchability. And this was that, AND as obscure as iconic images get.

For one thing, New Caledonia is plastered all over the planet with WARNING signs; idle tourists and travellers are strongly urged Not To Go To New Caledonia. It ranks with Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea on the Don't Go There list.

(Well, you can legally go there, but there are unusually high expectations that you won't come back again, or not with your luggage or with all your parts working.)

So anyway William Henry, you're old -- whatever that ill-defined adjective means -- and you have dental issues usually associated with superannuation. (I just got wonderful great new syntho-teeth myself.)

But let's have some specifics -- what continent are you on? Which hemisphere? Do you buy your groceries at the Noumea Piggly Wiggly or the Noumea Wal-Mart?

Oh, for straw-friendly food, have you tried hummus? We're fond of Sabra brand, it has lots of tasty varieties. (I had to live on hummus while i was suffering the torments of the damned to get my amazing new syntho-teeth.)

Oh, another landmark on the Don't Go There list was and maybe still is the exclave of Russia called Kaliningrad -- until 1945 and its conquest by the Red Army, historically known as Konigsberg, in the German state of East Prussia. (It has fewer than 7 bridges now, and Otticar's Castle has also vanished -- for sadder reasons than war.)
